Arose from the ashes of Swedish talented group Eternia, Destynation is here to bring us an excellent form of Melodic Power Metal! New band, first album so allow me to write down what i feel of this release. Eternia was a great Power Metal band but Destynation is better, much better! In guitar player Ronny's own words:

"The album "Rising Up" contains both new and old material but the essence of this album is the dark lyrics of a very troubled and haunted mind. It's been pschychological progress to release all frustration, envy and resistance we've experienced in the past, which clearly reflects in the songwriting".

So Destynation wants to express particular lifetime aspects while making music and that sounds great to me. To me, playin' Metal music the way you feel inside body, soul and mind is amazing and much better than singin' about crap which i don't wanna spill my words on. But let's go back to the musical side of the band. In a few words, to me Destynation is a very professional sounded band breeding energy, dynamic power with a bit of progression and a lot of melody all together as one. Vocals ranges from clear / standard to high pitching, very controlled and the guitars just drives me to the limit.

Blistering, technical riifs incl. numerous brilliant leads...this sounds like crystal in my ears. Drum parts and bass line, check it out and convince yourself what kinda great band Destynation really are. They also use keyboards which fits very well so i've no reason to complain with the release of Destynation's "Rising Up". They'll remind me in the first place a bit of 80s US Metal band Fifth Angel or Viper but also nowadays troops like Lanfear, Exhibition, Hammerfall or Galloglass are in the neighbourhood while listening.
