FEANOR - INVENCIBLE

SECRET PORT RECORDS
METAL TO INFINITY
Feanor was formed in 1996 with Gustavo Acosta on bass, Gonzalo Lopez on drums, Enrique Tivoli on guitar and Jorge Caudullio on keyboards. The guys wanted to start a band that held high the flag of Heavy Metal! Soon, the band started rehearsing and in no time, they were able to present their first own tracks to the audience! There have been some line up changes to become a stable line up, but since 1998, Feanor was ready to hit the stage and they debuted in the Marquee venue, which was a start of a metal dream that comes true!
Playing mainly in Buenos Aires and having a lot of problems with their line up, the next step in their career was made, when new vocalist Maximiliano Basualdo joined the band! This man has the looks like Eric Adams of Manowar and a couple of lungs that fit perfect to the music of Feanor!
''This Is For You'' was the title of the second demo that was recorded and it's dedicated to the 'die hard fans' and true metal people of Bahia Blanca City of Argentinia. The fans stayed loyal to the band during the hard times, so it was time to do something in return! ''This Is For Your'' resulted in a lot of exposure and at live gigs, the band dared to play cover songs of Manowar and Virgin Steele!
Gathering more and more success in the underground and the area they live in, the band was ready for the next move: a debut album. Since 2002, the band started working on it, and finally, the result is now playing to be reviewed. Invencible stands for Invincible and not only this term has a lot of Manowar style, the moment that Maximiliano starts to sing, I remembered another forgotten glory from Spain: Baron Rojo.
This album will appeal to many heavy metal maniacs around the world! Stand tall and be proud, support bands that bring true metal and buy their records! All songs on ''Invencible'' are brought to you with a lot of gratitude and passion, so it's time to do something in return. I really hope that I will have the chance to check them out live, 'cause I guess that Feanor knows exactly what metal is all about. Raise your fist and bang that head! Feanor is loud and proud and hails the metal community! My rating: 91/100
