FINAL STAGE - THROUGH THE MIRROR

Play it loud! That's the advice from these Canadians before listening! Final Stage is a trio of pure metal maniacs and for sure these are very gifted musicians. I have heard their EP ''Flight Of The Phoenix'' before and must admit they made a lot of progression since. The songs sounds very mature, the production is more professional, a 'natural' mysterious atmosphere is added. Final Stage is a Heavy / Power Metal band, influenced by the mighty 80's Metal movement, so you know what to expect.
Final Stage gives the listener a lot of variation; each song is different from the previous one and is strong enough to make this more than an enjoyable album. A mix between power, melodic bases and melancholic elements are always respectable, thanks to the good vocals and remarkable guitar solos played by Brandon Wright you will find this combination back on ''Through The Mirror''.
All songs are easy to hear and will bring you in a perfect mood. Final Stage found two guest musicians to help with this album, Jeff Klingbeil from Betrayer and the guitar virtuoso Chris Pitre. Also remarkable is the beautiful but very dark cover which fits perfect with the music. A perfect Metal band for one of those mighty German Metal festivals like Headbangers Open Air, Keep It True, Swordbrothers,...let's hope I get the oppportunity to meet these guys in the near future. Final Stage received already countless good reviews and I'll add one more.
