Next CD review in line is the second effort of a band named KAOS and please, be prepared for some technical, furious, Thrashin' Metal attack Bay Area style! These 5 guys are from Hayward California and led by singer Jason Darnell, both guitar players Joe Loescher and Stacey Murray. Bass line are in hands of Jay Figueroa and behind drums take place Burton Ortega. This superb release "Kaos Among Us" definitely kick your ass, balls and goes straight through every wall of sound. These Americans put all their own aggression, thoughts and meanings into their music and that results in an awesome storm of steel or a pure, solid Metal destruction.
The band's vocalist screams the longs out of his chest for real and the guitars sounds just awesome which means real technical with amazing solo's. As for the bass lines, well they're heavy as hell and the man behind the drumkit much be half past dead after playing a live performance i suppose. Momently so fast, you hardly believe it by yourself. It's definitely one of most original Thrash albums, with plenty of variety, i've heard the last couple of years. Bands creating their own style of Metal is one of the most important things to me, so with the guys from KAOS, it can go wrong for sure.
