They're from Italy, started back in 1980 and the first songs they ever made were nothing more than zero musical skill Punk-Metal with a non-promotion statement. They turned their backs to the Punk movement and want to play Heavy Metal. So, from the year 1983, a new HM band was born with the following line up: Luciano Tattini asguitar player and backing vocalist, Luca Toppini on drums, Luigi Navarino behind the microphone, Willima Garbo as second guitar player and singer and a mercenary bass player.
They did it pretty well, write good songs with an excellent sound and feeling, so RAIN was ready to kick some ass. After all, some members left, leads to new arrangements inside the band but they never give up the fight. Rain released at least two demo's entitled "Bad Situation" in 1984 and"The Rain's Coming" in 1986. Two years later, the band feels that an own studio was needed, and a dream comes true...RAIN's General Headquarter -Studio - Bar was born! The band start recording their first vinyl LP called"Ten years Later".
Again some line up changings but that's not unusual for a band who starts to make their own studio material. Steel plated throat Alessandro "TRONCO" Tronconi takes place of the singer in 1990 and Marco Valianti gets in as the new second guitarist. With this line up, Rain turn out towards a Melodic Hard Rock and place the corner stone for a new album entitled "Red Revolution", recorded with the help of PiergiorgioTesini. The album officially came out in 1995. They recorded a Live album in1996 which is still unreleased and in 1998 the guys were going for a brandnew album "Bigditch 4707", went to the studio and the CD is finished two years later.
So far a short background discription from the band and it's finally time to present their latest album called" Headshaker". It's a helluvah great album that counts eleven tracks of highly recommended Hard Rock 'n' Rolling Metal with lots of Power, guts and glory! Very impressive vocals and tremendous guitar lines all packed in a powerloaded production. Really like it anyway.
