American Hard Rock / Metal conquered a special place in my heart and soul since the early 80's days and wont let it go till going six feet below. That's why it always feels great giving the best support i can to bands hailing me straight from that special style of music. My passion from US Metal is still burning and will be forevermore.
So, let's talk about Untaymed now! Formed by Christopher Jacobson in 1991. From the early days of Untaymed, this guy had to struggle himself through several line-up changes but kept on going on. He played in the past as support for greats like: Vicious Rumors, Ratt, Dokken, Judas Priest, Lillian Axe and numerous others! Actually, Untaymed these days goes on as a studio project. Christopher is in charge for all vocals, bass and guitar duties (which he deliverd very talented, believe me!) and the only man who joined forces is drummer Don Anderson. Besides being a firefighter for at least 15 years, Don keeps on hitting drums since he was only four years old. Inspired by a few famous / world class pounders, Don and Christopher musicianship is more than just alright...i'd like to call it oustanding either!
This 2006 release entitled "IV" is fulfilled with six songs, one by one written by the one and only Christopher Jacobson during 1995 and 2000 . Recorded by Arthur Scott Denver at the DMS Studios in Clarksville New York, this new effort has a strongful 80s US Hard Rock / Metal influence on board. Musical wise, it reminds me of Icarus Witch. Clear vocals with some high pitched parts and melodic guitar works, the oustanding way...defenders of US Metal, this is your cup of tea! A pearl of US Hard Rock / Heavy Metal music awaits for all of you outhere!
