Gimme a daily dose of eighties or US Metal music and nothing can't go wrong to me! Fascinated, totally interested...let's call it addicted since a very long period. Some creepy souls spreading the news the US underground scene is buried but that's a filthy lie if you'll ask me. Many bands i've met via the internet the last years are so amazing, we definitely can't talk about a scene that's death and gone, hell no!! US Metal is still alive and kickin'!

Well, one of the new upcoming, great and excellent US Metal bands is Vain Rachell consist of bass player / Lead vocalist named Martin Revello, Rodman Underhill III (Lead / Rhythm Guitars / Back Vox / Synthesizer) and Drum specialist John Viruet. These guys are Tamp based and brings an overwhelming form of US Metal music to the masses. Point one is that Vain Rachell has a great vocalist in their ranks. Original and very strongful frontman actually hard to compare with other ones but one thing is for sure, Martin's voice is so pure and fantastic that he's one of my personal favourite singers at the moment! Secondly, you have to listen closely to the amazing guitar works delivered by Rodman. Damn, the way he handles his tools is breathtaking, it really chokes me!! Talking about a guitar wizard, well he is. If that isn't enough, i'd like to announce they also have a killer drummer too.

"Of My Demise" is a pure US Metal track that thrills me due to the old school inspired guitar riffs / excellent solo's and superb vocals. Going on with the same qualities with a song called "Hammerhead" that surely will rock your brains out. "Fill The Void" has a very special character. As usual, very impressive vocals and guitar works this time in the vein of Steve Vai, Pat Travers, Ulrich Rothe, Ted Nugent and many other greats. "I Want" is a groovy one that shows the incredible combination of all the used instruments. Easy started track "Chromatic" is build up in a very joyful way. Synths that fits very good with the rest of the music. Real special and definitely original to the bone.

My first fouvorite song is "To Worship The Sun". Emotional vocals and oh so beautiful build up, i'm choked once again. US Metal with an eighties touch and a lot of variable elements to enjoy. Fave number two is the up tempo sounded, killer one entitled "Zeitgeist" and the album's last song "Nonconformity" can be discribed as another fave, basicly the third in line. The CD has a running time of 28 minutes which is not that long but is fortunately fulfilled with Metal music with an own personality and character. Many ways of virtuosity are remarkable so this bright shining product deserves a special place in our world of Heavy Metal music, a place where they absolutely belongs.
