WRETCH - MAKE THIS GARDEN BURN

AUBURN RECORDS

METAL TO INFINITY

Active since many yeras, US Classic Heavy Metal merchants Wretch kicked us all in the head with their previously released album "Reborn" last year. Magnificent work very appreciated by muself and numerous True Metal maniacs! Well, Wretch is back with somekind of a rare 'new' album entitled "Make This Garden Burn", released through 'Masters Of Metal', Auburn Records!

This album is a very special product due to it's a compilation of previously unreleased songs....rare and AWESOME to the core! Actually a tribute to one of the most attractive 'Feasts On Metal' that ever took place on European ground. Name of that event is Headbangers Open Air (Germany) and every year, the organizers to work magic a celestial beautiful bill out of their sleeves. They already do this for 10 years so the 2007 edition had becomes something special. A celebration, a gathering of Metal maniacs from all over the world. Every year, it's an outdoor event take place in a garden...the most Metal loaded in the world for sure!

Hey, check out who appears on stage this year: Candlemass, Eternal Legacy, Warning SF, Halloween, Vengeance, Grim Reaper, Raven Black Knight,...and of course Wretch! Exclusively for the 2007 edition of HOW, Wrecth was ready to make their performance very unique. As tribute and opportunity playing there, Wretch recorded THE Headbangers Open Air anthem called 'Make This Garden Burn' (for ten years Metal's been here). Superb song all about this awesome festival...you can feel the spirit deep down inside your soul while listening to it...pounding fists in the air-headbangers unite!!!

Also, a brand new song called 'I Will Defy' is added to this album's songlist. Great track, typical Traditional Heavy Metal! 'Touch Like Thunder' featuring original Breaker frontman Jim Hamar is very rare, a true collectors item! Also, previously unreleased demo tracks like 'Never Too Late' (2005), 'Eyes Of Fate' (2003) and 'Reborn' (2003) to colour this album abundant. Also a few "Reborn" outtakes such as 'The Challenge' and 'Comatose' taking my breath away.

To conclude "Make This Garden Burn" CD on a  very appropriate manner, a set of 4 live songs has been added. It concerns the following works: 'Mental Wars', 'Life', 'Reborn' and 'Eyes Of Fate. As US Metal maniac, i definitely have no reason to complain at all. This is an album for the True US Heavy Metal maniacs pure!!! You can't find this output in your local record store, take a look at Auburn Records president Bill Peters' website right HERE and order right away!  MY POINTS: 96 / 100
